How we help

Subsidising your training costs to help build your career

Our vision is to build a skilled workforce that meets the evolving needs of the industry.

We're funded by an independent industry training levy – basically, whenever there's a construction project over a certain size we receive a small percentage of the cost – and we use this money to subsidise your training costs.

The following are three key ways CSQ can help you build your skills.

You are:
  • already working in the construction industry
  • seeking to increase your knowledge in a specific area
  • have perhaps been asked by your boss to complete additional training

2017-18: we provide access to over 100 Short Courses that will help you broaden your skills.

You are:
  • already working in the construction industry
  • want to increase your knowledge and qualifications
  • keen to move into a higher-level role in general or civil construction

The Higher Level Skills Program provides nationally accredited qualifications including:
  • Certificate IV
  • Diploma
  • Advanced Diploma

You are:
  • already working in the construction industry
  • already across the majority of skills necessary to operate as a skilled worker but don’t yet hold a qualification
  • keen to turn experience into a formal qualification
The Skills Assessment & Gap Training program:
  • assesses your current skills and provides the gap training you need to attain a nationally recognised qualification
