About the Short Course program
Are you looking to learn new and important skills that will help you to further your career in construction? Our Short Courses program with its focus on safety and licencing training could be for you.
The Short Courses program provides funding to assist with upskilling and cross skilling existing workers in the building and construction industry. The training focuses on the safety, regulatory and licensing requirements of the industry and can provide you with a range of competencies that employers need. And as the program name suggests, our Short Courses are designed to get you up-skilled fast.
Am I eligible to participate and what qualifications might I be able to achieve?
Use our Course Selector Tool to:
1. Find what courses are available under the Short Courses program
2. Select the course you are interested in
3. Check the eligibility criteria and maximum funding contribution for the program
4. Find contact details for RTOs delivering the course you are interested in, in the right location for you.
How does funding work?
CSQ funding is paid directly to the contracted Registered Training Organisation (RTO) as a contribution towards the cost of services to reduce the cost to participants. Participants are expected to contribute towards the cost of the course. Your RTO will assess your eligibility for funding and will advise you of the costs you will need to meet.
If you believe you meet the eligibility criteria for this program contact an RTO delivering the course you are interested in.
You'll need to get in quickly as places may be limited. Our funding period commences annually in October.
