About the Short Courses program
Are you an existing worker in the building and construction industry looking to learn new and important skills that will help you to further your career in construction? Our Short Courses program could be for you.
The Short Courses program provides funding to assist with upskilling and cross skilling existing workers in the building and construction industry. Short Courses are individual competencies and skills sets designed to provide flexible solutions to workers wanting to update their skills and knowledge in specific and targeted areas.
Am I eligible to participate and what qualifications might I be able to achieve?
Use our Course Selector Tool to:
1. Find what courses are available under the Short Courses program
2. Select the course you are interested in
3. Check the eligibility criteria and maximum funding contribution for the program
4. Find contact details for RTOs delivering the course you are interested in, in the right location for you.
How does funding work?
CSQ funding is paid directly to the contracted Registered Training Organisation (RTO) as a contribution towards the cost of services to reduce the cost to participants. Participants are expected to contribute towards the cost of the course. Your RTO will assess your eligibility for funding and will advise you of the costs you will need to meet.
If you believe you meet the eligibility criteria for this program contact a contracted RTO delivering the course you are interested in.
You'll need to get in quickly as places may be limited. Our funding period commences annually in October.
