 Who administers the Industry's Training Fund?
The Building
and Construction Industry Training Fund (Qld), a charitable trust,administers the
building and construction industry training levy pursuant to an amendment to the
Building and Construction Industry (Portable Long Service Leave) Act 1991. The
Portable Long Service Authority, as prescribed under the Act, collects 0.1% levy
on any building and construction work that is to be carried out in Queensland
where the cost of work is $80,000 (inc. GST) or more. BCITF
(Qld) Ltd is the trustee of the Fund and Construction Skills Queensland is a
trading name of BCITF (Qld) Ltd.

Training Funds are
