Employer Wage Responsibility

Employers must pay the wages and provide the entitlements as specified in the relevant employment agreement or award.

Wages information for supervised training

All employers must pay their apprentices and trainees wages for participation in all supervised training, regardless of the way the training is delivered.

Employers are not required to pay wages for the supervised training of school based apprentices and trainees.
