The primary aim of Construction Skills Queensland is to provide a single point of contact to help attract,recruit, train and retain workers, therefore ensuring a sustainable workforce with the right skills, in the right place at the right time.

New Hub for Industry, Employers and Government

Construction Skills Queensland brings together the activities of the Building and Construction Industry Training Fund (BCITF (Qld)) and many of the key functions of Construction Training Queensland (CTQ) under one banner, capitalising on the strong position to add further strength to its capacity and capability.

This creates a single, entity that will implement key workforce and skills solutions in the industry. Mr Brett Schimming, CEO of CSQ, is committed to delivering seamless and streamlined services to the industry.
