Please note, from 1 July 2008, Construction Skills Queensland has introduced a new Employer Incentive arrangement which entitles all eligible employers to $1,250 per apprentice / trainee. The incentive is payable at 12 months after the commencement date for the apprentice / trainee.

Payment will be automated. Your details and those of your apprentices’/ trainees’ will be sourced from DETA records and incentive payments will be made at the due date.

You will be able to view new Employer Incentive records online from September 2008.

Please note funding for this initiative will cease as of 30th June 2009. All claims for this period must be submitted before 30th September 2009 for processing. Any claims received after 30th September will not be approved for reimbursement.
