Civil Infrastructure

Civil Infrastructure - involves in civil engineering work where projects are separated into site preparation services and non-building construction. Site preparation includes leveling sites, excavation of foundations, trench digging etc. Non-building construction includes road and sub-divisions, bridgeworks, railways, harbours, electrical infrastructure, gas supply systems etc.


General Construction

General Construction sector- involves building residential or commercial structures including the fit out and finishing. Such as, building new houses, units and alterations and/or additions to buildings.


Offsite Construction

Off-Site sector - recognises that there are many building activities which occur away from the construction site, such as in the development of pre– fabricated building components (such as concreting) or sign writing.


Services sector

Services sector - involves the running of electrical and electronic, plumbing, fire protection and air-conditioning services.
