CSQ is proud to once again be a sponsor of the Brisbane Broncos. In 2017, we're excited to not only be the major sponsor of the Elite Player Development Squad, but also construction partners for the Broncos' new clubhouse at Red Hill.
So what’s the connection?
The building and construction industry shares a lot of the same things as footy – enjoying the outdoors, working with your hands, and being part of a great team.
As any great sportsperson knows, it’s important to keep your options open. CSQ works to introduce building and construction as an excellent supplementary career option for players young and old. A number of Broncos have gone on to have construction careers after they’ve hung up their boots. If you're thinking a career in construction check out our career seekers' info on how to get started.
About the Elite Player Development Squad
The Broncos Elite Player Development
(EPD) Squad consists of more than 250 young players from across Queensland who have shown strong potential in the sport. The program aims to educate young players on all aspects of rugby league, both on and off the field and to enhance their prospects of playing in the NRL.
CSQ and the Brisbane Broncos have a unique partnership which helps junior players at the club to find a pathway into construction. The partnership also provides an opportunity to showcase industry careers to rugby league players and fans across Queensland.
The Broncos new clubhouse at Red Hill
Located on the former Ithaca TAFE campus, the site will house a large training, administration and communication facility including a full-sized training field open to the community. CSQ has partnered with the Broncos to bring you construction updates along the way – and some great insights into the contruction world.
