The theme of this year's Small Business Week is 'Time to Thrive'. The week is a celebration of small businesses, like yours. and is full of opportunities for you to learn and acquire new ideas, skills and tools so you can take your business to the next level. Your small business is one of nearly 70,000 small businesses in Queensland's building and construction industry. To help you get the skills you need, CSQ offers these courses:

Manage Small Business Finances - BSBSMB406
Offers performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to implement, monitor and review strategies for the ongoing management of a small businesses finances. Also includes guidance and information on the day to day financial management of a small business. 

Plan Small Business Finances - BSBSMB402
Offers performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to develop a financial plan to support business viability.

Certificate IV in New Small Business - BSB42615
This qualification is suitable for those establishing a small business who use well developed skills and a broad knowledge base to solve a range of unpredictable problems, and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources.

Establish Legal and Risk Management Requirements of Small Business - BSBSMB401 & BSBSMB401A
Offers performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to identify and comply with the regulatory, legal, taxation and insurance requirements, and risk management needs of small businesses.
