CSQ is working with partners from the building and construction industry to present the Construction Industry Exchanges, a mini conference style event travelling across Queensland to bring you the latest industry news from your region.
If you work in the building and construction industry this is your chance to keep pace with industry developments.
CSQ will present a profile of the local construction industry in each region and outline strategies being put in place to address local training issues.
Presentations and discussions include:
- CSQ – Annual Training Plan 2014/15 and local profiling
- HIA – apprentices, safety and training
- QLeave – employer responsibilities and employee benefits
- STQ – onsite health
- QBCC – changes to customer service charter
- MIC – Mates helping mates
- CCF – Supporting and skilling the Civil Construction Industry
Last week saw the first two events, in Mackay and Townsville, with a good turnout at both the morning and afternoon sessions. This week events are taking place in Toowoomba and Cairns.
Morning sessions run from 6.30am – 10am including a light breakfast, while afternoon sessions take place from 3.30pm – 7.15pm with networking drinks towards the end.
