Mates in Construction are heading to Kokoda again this year and are looking for people to join the adventure – have you got what it takes?

Eighteen people have already signed up for this year’s Mates Kokoda Trek in Papua New Guinea and the call has gone out to industry for more adventurers to take up the challenge.

The Kokoda Track stretches 96 kilometres through what is arguably some of the most rugged and wild jungle in the world. Staying in remote villages, crossing rivers, and climbing mountain ranges are all part of the adventure.

The Kokoda Track holds a special place in Australia’s history, and experienced guides will share the stories of its chequered past as you make your way along the track.

You will pay your respects at the many battle sites, including a special service at Brigade Hill on 10 September, World Suicide Prevention Day.

Taking part in the Trek means you get to complete a great personal physical challenge, and pay your respects to those who fought in such challenging conditions. Best of all you get to raise funds and awareness so Mates in Construction can continue to help those in challenging circumstances.

Trekkers are required to undertake a 12 week training program to prepare for the adventure.

Departing 4th September the trek takes 8 days and includes all flights, food and accommodation.

CSQ is pleased to be supporting the trek again this year.
