Skilling Queenslanders for Work funding round opens

The first funding round under the newly-reinstated Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative is now open for applications.
Eligible organisations, including community based not-for-profit organisations, local councils and school Parents and Citizens’ and Parents and Friends’ associations, have until 19 June to apply for funding under the following programs:
There will be two open and transparent funding rounds held each financial year. In 2015-16, $60 million will be available to develop skills for individuals and provide direct assistance to those Queenslanders that need support to gain the qualifications and skills needed to enter and stay in the workforce.
