Fit Testing (Quantitative Method)

QNFT is a type of test to ensure that tight-fitting respirators are adequately sealed to the wearer’s face in order to provide sufficient protection against breathing in respirable crystalline silica dust. The test involves using an instrument to measure leakage around the face seal and produces numerical results called a “fit factor”.
