What can we do for you?
If you are currently working in the Queensland building and construction industry and want to build your skills, you may be eligible for CSQ funded training.
There is nowhere like the construction industry for opportunities to build your career.
Training is key to boosting your skills and creating new career opportunities.
Whether you are just starting out, looking to level up, or dreaming of going out on your own, CSQ supports training for workers at every stage of their construction career pathway.
Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) connects you with the skills and training you need.
It’s our mission to make it easier for you by:
- Funding around 75% of your training costs
- Connecting you with Registered Training Organisations
CSQ funds Higher Qualifications to advance you further in your role, Skills Assessment & Gap Training to help you turn your experience into a formal qualification, and Short Courses designed to help you update your skills and knowledge within a specific area.

How does funding work?
CSQ contributes towards the cost of courses.
CSQ funding is paid directly to the contracted Registered Training Organisation as a contribution towards the cost of services to reduce the cost to participants.
Participants are expected to contribute towards the cost of training. The RTO will assess participants’ eligibility for funding and will advise you of the costs you will need to meet.
All training is delivered through our contracted RTOs. If you think a course in this program might be suitable for you and you meet the eligibility criteria, contact a contracted RTO delivering the course you are interested in.
