Toni Thomsen is already a key member of the team at EN & AE Sinitsky Painting Solutions as the Brisbane painting company’s busy Business and Operations Manager.

But she will be even more valuable once she completes her Cert IV Building and Construction Estimating course, empowering Toni to do some of EN & AE Sinitsky’s own quoting.

Toni discovered that she can access CSQ-funding for the course following recent changes to eligibility that include building and construction staff in administration and business support roles.

She says she was motivated to ‘get more hands on with the business’ and had been thinking about doing training for some time but the CSQ funding announcement helped push her to action.

“I finally decided to give it a go.

“I think the funding would be a great push for anyone who has had any type of learning in their goals.

“Some areas of the course are challenging and I think that comes with the fact that it’s online and not in a team or classroom environment but I’m definitely learning the ins and out of quoting! 

“Professionally it is going to help me be more hands on with the business and it will help us financially to cut out the middle man who currently does our quoting for us.”

EN & AE Sinitsky Painting Solutions is part of the Dulux Accredited group. CSQ is developing a partnership with the Dulux Accredited program which rewards skilled painters with formal recognition.
